Job Description
- Receives a patient into the treatment area, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
- Weighs and checks vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure, documented in the patient’s chart
- Inquires about the patient’s health and post-dialysis experiences, recorded in the chart
- Monitors patient and vital signs every half hour, supervises dialysis machine during treatment
- Assists patient post-dialysis, removes from machine, and re-weighs
- Sends dialyzer for cleaning if on reuse, responsible for dialysis machine maintenance
