Position Title:

Payment Team Leader

Reports to:

Payment Supervisor

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing and guiding the payment specialist in processing all payment transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and driving continuous improvement in payment operations.
• Generate and present regular and/or ad hoc reports on payment metrics, issues, and trends to the payment supervisor.
• Prepare, check, and analyze whether various payment records and statements are recorded in accordance with standard procedures, and evaluate their accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Monitor payment operations for fraudulent activities and implement measures to mitigate risks.
• Oversee daily and monthly payment reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Handle all payment-related duties.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance or any accounting-related course will be an advantage.
• 4 years of experience in payment processing or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, gateways, and reconciliation for Southeast Asian markets, including China.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Willing to work a shifting schedule, weekends, or holidays.
