Job Description
A Penetration Tester is responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in computer systems, networks, and software applications. They perform controlled, simulated attacks on systems to evaluate the security measures in place and identify potential weaknesses that attackers could exploit.
As a Penetration Tester, you will conduct thorough assessments, analyze the results, and provide recommendations to enhance security. You will work closely with the IT team to implement appropriate security measures and ensure the organization’s systems are protected from potential attacks.
To excel in this role, strong technical skills and knowledge of hacking techniques are essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ is advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with security frameworks and industry standards is highly desirable.
