Job Description
A People Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting the human resources functions of the company. They handle various aspects of employee relations, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement.
As a People Specialist, your main role will be to assist in the hiring process by posting job advertisements, evaluating resumes, and conducting interviews. You will also be responsible for ensuring all employees receive proper training and development opportunities. Additionally, you will work closely with managers to address employee concerns, manage disciplinary actions, and support performance improvement plans.
To be successful in this position, you should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. You must be able to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
