Job Description
A Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting and eliminating pests, such as insects, rodents, and other unwanted creatures, from residential and commercial properties. This position requires a strong knowledge of pest control methods and the ability to use various tools and chemicals safely and effectively.
The main responsibilities of a Pest Control Technician include:
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify any pest infestations.
- Developing and implementing effective pest control plans.
- Applying pesticides and other treatments to eliminate pests.
- Providing advice and recommendations to property owners on preventive measures to minimize future infestations.
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided and pest control activities.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong communication skills are essential for this position. Pest Control Technicians may work independently or as part of a team, depending on the size of the pest control company.
