Job Description

Pizzaiolo is responsible for preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings. Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times, producing meals, and cleaning their workspace throughout the day to follow health and safety guidelines. Follows recipes consistently, make adjustments based on customer requests, communicate with wait staff and prepare garnishes to make an attractive presentation for each meal.

They often have the following responsibilities:

• Ensures cooking stations are sanitized and prepped with necessary tools
• Prepares and stores pizza dough
• Prepares pizza sauces
• Orders supplies, maintains inventory, creates budgets to ensure profitable food cost
• Checks quality of pizzas before they’re served to guests
• Performs regular maintenance on kitchen equipment
• Makes sure the kitchen is clean and sanitized
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
