Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Planner II to join our team. As a Planner II, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans and programs to support our organization’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to gather data and information related to land use, zoning, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement land use plans, including evaluating existing plans and making recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate planning recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Review development proposals and analyze their compliance with planning regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in public meetings and engage with community members to gather feedback and address concerns related to land development projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in GIS and other planning software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
