Job Description
We are seeking a formal, experienced Pollution Control Officer to monitor and mitigate air, water, and soil pollution, enforce environmental regulations, and coordinate remediation and reporting activities.
- Key duties: conduct site inspections, collect and analyze samples, maintain records, prepare permits and incident reports, and provide pollution prevention guidance.
- Requirements: bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field, a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, knowledge of local environmental laws and sampling techniques, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: HAZWOPER certification or equivalent; proactive, detail-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.
