Job Description
Role
Support the growing sales activities in Asia. This role is designed to work on various pre-sales and post-sales activities in parallel. This role will have the visibility and involvement of the whole cycle of various sales cases. It is for the good of future career development of the staff in this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Asia pre-sales on technical documentation, drawing, quotation, cost calculations, and analysis.
- Generate technical design, cost and price, and input into systems under the guidance of Asia Pre-sales.
- Post-sales coordination with clients and internal teams during Asia hours.
- Communication with suppliers on cost and solution optimizations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Information Engineering or related aspects. Candidates without a Bachelor Degree but with strong Telecommunications or Cloud Computing working experience may also be considered.
- 3 to 5 years in Telecom Network, Cloud Computing, and IT related technical support roles.
- Good understanding of Telecom networks, undersea cables, Ethernet WAN, TCP/IP, BGP4 routing.
- Fluent in English is a must. Proficiency in other languages will be an advantage but not a must.
- Willing to explore various aspects of pre-sales and post-sales activities for future career development.
- Willing to face clients, even remotely through phone calls and video conferences.
- Eager to learn new technology and global markets. Positive thinking to get things done.
