Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of 4- or 5-year course; preferably Business or Engineering course.
- Minimum 1 year work experience preferred not required.
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Listening skills.
- Basic Technical Skills
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible in sourcing for and accrediting qualified and reliable pool of suppliers. Issuance of Purchase Order and monitoring of suppliers’ deliverables.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying and sourcing potential vendors
- Sending out requests for proposal to potential vendors.
- Coordinating with the cost management group on the evaluation of proposals from vendors.
- Negotiating with vendors for the best deals in terms of pricing, quality, and terms.
- Endorsing awards to suppliers/contractors to management for approval.
- Issuing Purchase Orders for materials requirements.
- Updating monitoring files and schedules.
- Performing other assigned duties.
