Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Procurement Category Manager. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for various product categories. Your primary goal will be to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards in the procurement process.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze current market trends and identify potential suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement objectives are met
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them
To qualify for this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in procurement, preferably in a managerial role, is required. Strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management are also essential.
