Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement Officer. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, goods, and services for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
- Identifying potential suppliers, conducting negotiations, and evaluating vendor performance.
- Managing procurement contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and providing guidance on best practices.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and generating reports to track expenses and analyze trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
