Job Description
The Procurement Officer will handle sourcing, evaluating, and recommending suppliers for various requisitions. Responsibilities include coordinating communication between requestors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to company purchasing processes, and managing timely delivery of items.
Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate contractors/suppliers; recommend suppliers for requisitioned items.
- Mediate between requestors and suppliers for technical conformity and timely delivery.
- Provide status updates to stakeholders regarding requested items.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and commercial bid evaluations.
- Offer summary recommendations based on end-user technical evaluations.
- Generate purchase orders (POs).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of technical buying experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with local and international suppliers.
- Willingness to work 85% in Cavite and 15% in Rockwell, Makati.
