Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team at AlphaSolar, Inc. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our organization, ensuring cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase goods and services required by the organization.
- Identify reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Issue purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming goods.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
