Job brief
A prominent FMCG Distribution company is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager. This challenging role reports directly to the BU Head and focuses on sales and profitability, with a primary emphasis on developing and implementing effective strategies for each brand and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the assigned product categories
- Oversee KPIs, sales targets, and profitability within the designated categories
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient supply chains
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and market success
Requirements
- Proven experience in Product Management, preferably in FMCG (food and non-food sectors)
- Prior product knowledge in Food and Beverages (Snacks, Soft Drinks, Juices, Dairy, Meat) and Confectionery and Chocolates (Chocolates, Candies and Sweets, Gums and Chewing Products) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to set the pace and execute tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
