Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Planning and Inventory Control Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective production planning process, as well as implementing and managing inventory control strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the production schedule, taking into account customer demands, production capacity, and material availability
- Monitor the inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in terms of cost reduction and productivity enhancement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and minimize lead times
- Implement inventory control measures, including regular stock counts, cycle counting, and reconciliation
- Generate reports and present findings to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
