Job Description
Responsibilities:
- What must PROJECT IN-CHARGE know CONTROL, MONETARY, MATERIALS, SCHEDULE, MANPOWER, EQUIPMENT, QUALITY OF WORK, and BILLING.
- Understanding the construction plan of the project.
- Must have knowledge in Structural / Retro-fitting/welding and auto-cad.
- Determining the time constraints to complete the job.
- Identifying the raw material and manpower required.
- Supervising along with the contractor the construction site.
- Managing daily activities on the site.
- Ensuring the subcontractors are following the blueprints.
- Ensuring the raw materials used are as per the specifications.
- Working in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other team members.
- Providing recommendations on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Negotiating with the Contractors and vendors for the best price.
- Coming up with technical solutions for problems that are causing a delay in the projects.
- Presenting the reports to the Project Leaders and Executives.
- Adhering to all the environmental and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related degree.
- Work experience in the Construction company as a Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to manage tasks as per priorities.
- Amazing project management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to deal with different personalities and remain calm.
- A hardworking and detail-oriented individual.
- Ability to work in harsh conditions.
- Willing to relocate to any projects.
