Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation and visibility.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive coverage and media opportunities.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, effectively communicating key messages to the media and the public.
- Lead crisis communications efforts, including developing response plans, managing media inquiries, and mitigating reputational risks.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, speeches, and other communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, legal, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify potential issues and opportunities.
- Provide media training and support to executives and key spokespeople.
- Manage public relations budgets, resources, and external agency relationships as needed.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of public relations initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
