Job Description
Reports to
Associate Director for Corporate and Public Affairs
The intern will support day-to-day operations in the Corporate and Public Affairs Unit, gain visibility into the inner workings of the public relations field, provide deliverables, and learn from subject matter experts.
Job Description
- Assist in execution of clients’ PR strategies
- Assist in creating PR and digital roadmaps
- Brainstorm tactical executions for different accounts
- Write media announcements and press releases
- Manage and update media lists and databases
- Monitor news releases and generate media coverage reports
- Assist in event scheduling and preparation
- Conduct research and industry analysis
- Write contact reports and update project trackers
- Assist in administrative duties
Minimum qualifications
- Enrollment in BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar fields
- Interest in the PR/marketing industry
- Knowledge of copywriting and research
- Social media savvy (IG, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Minimum 300 hours availability, at least 3 days a week, 8 hours per day
