Job Description
A purchaser, similar to a purchasing agent, has the responsibility of buying products and services for their organization or for third parties. What purchasers buy could include finished products, manufacturing and production materials, office and plant supplies or services. Their duties include price evaluations, market assessments, product ordering, record keeping and tracking of inbound orders.
