Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Research potential vendors
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details
- Conduct market research and pricing analysis
- Negotiate with vendors for better pricing
- Prepare cost analyses and maintain records
- Liaise with suppliers and warehouse staff
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research and strong organizational skills
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field
