Job Description
Responsible for monitoring stock levels, researching potential vendors, tracking orders, and updating order records. Conduct market research, evaluate vendor offers, negotiate prices, and maintain accurate records.
- Assists the Purchasing Manager in handling and administration of all purchase requisition, sourcing, canvassing, and processing of Purchase Order.
- Orders and follows up on deliveries.
- Files all necessary documents pertaining to served and unserved requisitions.
- Prepares and maintains all files of all required and necessary reports, records, and documents such as various inter-office memos, outgoing correspondences, quotation/canvass records, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, cancelled/void files, receiving reports PR/PO transmittals.
- Conducts regular review of pending Purchase Orders and initiates measures to expedite their deliveries by keeping contact rapport with the suppliers.
- Performs other related functions which may be assigned by his immediate superior.
