Job Description
Purchasing Assistant is responsible for effective and efficient canvassing, negotiating, and procurement of materials considering factors such as quality, service, credit terms, and price offered by vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Request for quotations and perform proposal analysis
- Manage procurement of goods and generate purchase orders
- Prepare payment requests and monitor transactions
- Communicate with team members on procurement status
- Ensure on-time material delivery and accurate stock tracking
- Maintain supplier database for competitive sourcing
- Prepare inventory reports and conduct counts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business
- Minimum 1 year of Procurement Assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good judgment, communication, organizational skills
- Flexible and well-organized
