Job Description
A Purchasing Assistant is responsible for assisting the purchasing team in procuring goods and services for a company. They work closely with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of products, negotiate contracts, and maintain inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of purchase orders and quotations.
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock when necessary.
- Conducting price comparisons and negotiating with vendors for favorable terms.
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Solving any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Ensuring all purchasing processes adhere to company policies and guidelines.
