Job Description
The Purchasing Assistant will manage inventory levels to identify procurement needs, research and evaluate potential suppliers, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Responsibilities include updating internal systems with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts), conducting market research and cost analyses, and negotiating terms to secure favorable pricing. The role requires maintaining accurate records of invoices and contracts, following up with suppliers to confirm or adjust orders, and coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure products arrive in good condition. This position is full-time, permanent, and based on-site.
