Job Description

The Purchasing Assistant at The Oriental Hospitality and Restaurant Management is responsible for reviewing prices, ensuring quality, and purchasing essential products for daily operations and expansions while maintaining optimal stock levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and generate reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Research potential vendors and compare offers
  • Enter order details and maintain purchase records
  • Prepare reports on purchases and cost analysis

Qualifications:

  • BS in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience as a Purchasing Assistant
  • Knowledge of vendor sourcing and supply chain procedures
  • Strong analytical skills, financial report creation, and cost analysis
  • Previous experience in the Hotel industry preferred
  • Computer literate and can work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Driver’s license required

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay Types:

  • 13th-month salary
  • Overtime pay
