Job Description
A Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the company’s procurement activities. They play a vital role in ensuring that the organization’s purchasing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
As a Purchasing Coordinator, your main responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, issuing purchase orders, and monitoring inventory levels. You will also collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet them.
In addition, you will maintain accurate records of purchases, track deliveries, and handle any discrepancies or issues that may arise. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential in this role.
