Job Description
As a Purchasing Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing the purchasing department of our company. Your main tasks will include sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
You will collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs, develop and implement purchasing strategies, and monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, you will maintain inventory levels, track market trends, and evaluate supplier reliability and performance.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement processes. You must also have a proven track record of managing a purchasing team and achieving cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
