Job brief
We are looking for a Purchasing Staff to handle the procurement process of essential products for our company. Your role will involve vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, stock level optimization, and maintaining supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Research and assess potential vendors
- Evaluate offers from suppliers
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review product quality
- Enter order details into databases
- Maintain records of purchased products
- Prepare reports on purchases
- Monitor stock levels and place orders
- Coordinate with warehouse staff
- Attend industry events for market insights
