Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing products, ingredients solely for the restaurant and negotiating the best contracts.
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies as necessary.
- Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends.
- Updating records of orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays.
- Networking with industry professionals and establishing relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required.
- Previous experience in a similar position specifically in a restaurant.
- Proficiency in management software programs.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
