We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Staff to handle sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management at UNIBAKERS CORPORATION. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely procurement and maintaining cost-efficiency.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, goods, and services.
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Collaborate with departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Track orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve purchasing-related issues.
- Maintain accurate purchase records.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience in purchasing or related roles.
- Knowledge of procurement practices and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build good relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QUICKBOOKS.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Relevant certifications like CPP are advantageous.
