Job Description
Job Description:
- Undertake the regular ordering of medical and non-medical consumables ensuring stock available to meet demand.
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
- Schedule store visits, conduct competitor survey, and coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery.
- Order and procure medical and non-medical special and capital items as directed.
- Oversee and train those assisting in purchasing, create specifications, negotiate prices, and problem solve.
- Liaise with suppliers and department supervisors to ensure effective actions on order requests and troubleshoot purchasing issues.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in any related business course.
- 1 year of work experience as Purchasing Staff.
- Highly developed communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Apply high ethical standards and professionalism.
