Job Description
A Quality Assurance Jr. Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. As a member of the QA team, you will be responsible for executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and documenting defects.
Your main tasks will include:
- Executing test cases and scripts to identify software bugs and issues
- Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand project requirements
- Creating and maintaining test case documentation
- Performing functional, integration, and regression testing
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution
- Participating in team meetings to discuss project status and issues
This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and good problem-solving abilities. A basic understanding of software development methodologies and quality assurance principles is also important.
