Job Description
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations: HACCP, GMPs, FSMA
- Previous experience in quality assurance or food safety roles
- Familiarity with quality management systems: ISO 9001, SQF
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and implement improvements
- Strong attention to detail for inspections and audits
- Skills to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement CAPAs
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in conducting audits and maintaining accurate records
- Capability to assess and mitigate risks in food safety
- Understanding of food microbiology, chemistry, and pathogens
- Collaborative work with teams, agencies, suppliers for food quality
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry best practices
