Job Description
A Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet specific standards and criteria set by a company or industry. Their primary goal is to maintain and enhance the quality of the products or services produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible in monitoring the compliance of Good Warehousing Practices of Drivers and Helpers during receiving of container on all cold storages.
- Responsible in monitoring the temperature of freezers, reefer van and items for receiving.
- Conducts orientation for warehouseman and logistics personnel.
- Observes/complies with company policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferably B.S Food Technology, B.S Nutrition, B.S Chemical Engineering, B.S. Chemistry graduate or graduate of any food science related courses.
- Operational experience in similar capacity (minimum 1 year)
Competency Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of assurance-related concepts (GMP, Food Safety, and Sanitation)
- Analytical and fact-based decision-maker
- Ability to quickly identify issues and risks and provide recommendations
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications, use of email and other digital tools.
- Ability to present reports.
