Job Description
Octagon Concrete Solutions Inc is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for sourcing cost estimates for Civil, Structural, and Architectural components of construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations and tenders for projects.
- Assist in procurement administration, project budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Seek advice on improving processes and procedures for the Quantity Surveying Department.
- Help in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other relevant documentation.
- Price Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages, evaluate billing, and perform costing.
- Track changes to design and construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Perform tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Proficient in Surveying Software PLANSWIFT, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other related Software/Tools.
- Experience in project estimating and budgeting in the Construction Industry.
- Understanding of critical path methodology.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to start immediately.
Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
