Job Description
· Performs all scheduled radiologic examinations in his/her assigned unit for the day.
· Ensures that proper techniques are followed in the production of quality radiographs or images.
· Sets up and operates stationary and mobile radiologic equipment.
· Provide quality patient care to patients undergoing radiologic procedures.
· Assist the Radiologist on duty during routine and special procedures.
· Assist the clerical staff in scheduling patients, providing pre-procedural instructions, charging/billing, and issuing results to patients or authorized persons.
· Prepares patients for examinations, including providing explanations and instructions.
· Maintains inventory and cleanliness of equipment in the assigned unit.
· Prints images on prescribed media and ensures unit orderliness.
· Reports incidents, concerns, and equipment issues to the supervisor.
· Abides by all unit and hospital policies and guidelines.
