Job Description

Primary Responsibility: Handling Social Media Presence, interacting with client inquiries and generating engagements. The communications officer will also perform the role of welcoming clients to the office, and directing their concerns to the appropriate department/associate (Receptionist).

Communications associates are responsible for a broad range of duties related to content and messaging. They develop communications that may be delivered in many formats including via email, online, print distribution, video, or other mediums. They may also play a role in social media campaigns. They often collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to develop communications goals and a messaging strategy, and then identify the best tactics to deliver that information. Their goal is to educate, inform, and motivate the audience while supporting the organization’s marketing objectives.

Requirements:

  • College Degree in Marketing, Communications, Management or other related field.
  • With pleasing personality and positive outlook.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience of handling communications.
  • Wide breadth of multi-channel communications. (Use of Social Media)
  • Knows how to talk to people from different perspectives. (clients, applicants, service providers, etc.)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • A capable organizer, used to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

Competencies:

We test this at interview stage.

Communicating Effectively:

Demonstrate the effective use of the range of communication methods available: written, spoken, electronic, and use these methods in appropriate ways suitable to the context and situation.
