Job Description
Job Summary: The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing retail sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. This role involves account servicing, inventory monitoring, competitive assessment, and field survey visits.
Principal Duties:
- Conduct retail outlet sales calls, inventory monitoring, and merchandising.
- Perform competitive area assessments and grassroots collections.
- Implement sales and marketing policies to retail customers.
- Monitor competitor activities and report recommendations.
- Conduct field outlet surveys and missionary selling for distributors.
- Conduct credit checks on distributor prospects and provide feedback.
- Address all retail outlet requests and concerns with distributors.
- Prepare sales performance reports and identify business opportunities.
- Ensure all programs are implemented and reviewed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Accountabilities:
- Achieve area sales targets and maintain high customer service levels.
- Ensure accurate reports and sales forecasts, proper equipment use.
- Manage area collection and exclusivity.
Skills and Abilities:
- Trade relationship management and customer-oriented approach.
- Strong problem analysis, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Financial analysis, proficient presentation, and computer literacy.
- Ability to speak local dialect and drive manual transmission vehicle.
