Job Description
As a Road Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics activities related to road transportation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials by working closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and organizing road transportation operations to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinating with carriers to ensure on-time delivery and transportation cost optimization.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure they are in compliance with regulations and meet quality standards.
- Managing communication with internal stakeholders and resolving any issues or delays in transportation.
- Analyzing data and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensuring all transportation documentation is accurate and up to date.
