Job Description
1. Planning and developing merchandising strategy.
2. Analyzing sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs.
3. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time scales.
4. Maximizing customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
5. Producing layout plans for stores and maintaining store shelves and inventory.
6. Building constructive customer relationships and teaming with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
7. Remaining up to date with industry’s best practices.
