Job Description
- Conduct regular safety inspections of work sites, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop, organize, and conduct safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientations and refresher courses.
- Ensure compliance with all local law safety regulations, as well as company-specific safety policies.
- Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and other safety-related activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
- Participate in internal and external safety audits, ensuring that any identified issues are addressed promptly.
- Recommend and implement improvements to safety policies and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
