Job Description
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Completed mandatory forty (40)-hour basic OSH training
- Completed an additional 48-hour Advanced/Specialized Occupational Safety Training Course
- At least 2 years experience in Occupational Safety and Health function
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety program design and implementation
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
- Lead/Assist relevant organizations in the investigation of any accident, and prepare recommendations to mitigate these incidents
- Conduct studies and benchmarking activities to identify appropriate solutions to strengthen organizational safety performance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: PHP 22,00.00 – PHP 25,00.00 per month
