Job Description
1. Reviews all safety documents of all contractors before they enter the activity area.
2. Conducts mandatory Occupational Safety and Health seminars for newly hired workers according to R.A 11058 and DOLE 198-19.
3. Conducts daily inspections of the working area.
4. Leads the team in conducting EHS walkthroughs.
5. Conducts daily toolbox meetings.
6. Recommends and implements site-specific house rules.
7. Supervises working conditions, methods, and compliance with safety procedures.
8. Assesses safety conditions, issues, and concerns, providing recommendations for improvement.
9. Monitors safety and health aspects of operations in collaboration with supervisors and workers.
10. Assists government inspectors during safety and health inspections and accident investigations.
11. Other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- COSH Holder and other related Health and Safety training
- Experience as a Safety Officer in building construction or related field
- Willingness to be assigned in Manila or Metro Manila
- Immediate availability
