Job Description
We are currently seeking a Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting regular inspections, providing safety training, and investigating any accidents or incidents that occur at the workplace.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Provide safety training to employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future accidents.
- Maintain safety records and reports.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices. A degree in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred. A certification in safety management would be a plus.
