Job Description
· Consistently offers high level of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service and sensible suggestive selling. Assists customers in the selection of merchandise and directs them to the nearest counter for payment.
· Replenishes and arranges stocks on display and ensures availability in the selling area. Monitors product freshness and timely handling of damaged and near expiry products. Assists in inventory taking: ensures the safety of merchandise and maintains the cleanliness of the selling area.
· Engages with customers and directs complaints to superiors for proper handling (if any).
· Adheres to prescribed cashiering policies and procedures in receiving payment. Ensures that debit/credit cards are duly returned to customers after every transaction; accurate change is accorded. Safeguards all tenders received, then accurately accounts and endorses the same to Immediate Head prior to meal break and before the end of the shift. Ensures the availability of cashiering forms/documents and supplies such as POs, charge invoices, sales drafts, journals, receipt rolls, etc.
· Implements all marketing-related efforts in accordance with management directives. Ensures compliance with merchandising procedures and processes to reduce losses.
