Job Description
A sales development representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in generating leads and driving revenue for a company. As an SDR, your main responsibility is to reach out to potential customers, qualify their interest and needs, and schedule sales meetings for the sales team.
You will be expected to research and identify potential leads, make cold calls or send cold emails to prospects, and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team to follow up on. Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with potential customers are essential in this role.
As an SDR, you will also collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and campaigns. Additionally, you may be required to attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate new business opportunities.
