Job Description
Rustan Marketing Corporation or RMK is one of the several companies under the Rustan Group of Companies. It was established in 1964 and is now a leading nationwide wholesale distributor of various international prestige brands. With a network of more than 700 wholesale and retail outlets in key cities and trading centers nationwide, Rustan Marketing Corporation has well established itself as a fully-integrated distribution service company with multi-distribution channels that include department stores, major supermarkets, drugstore chains, convenience stores, wholesalers, and sub-distributors.
The Sales Manager is the overall in-charge in directing and supervising the field sales operations for all department stores, supermarkets, wholesalers, and other distribution outlets. Has direct line authority over all sales representatives in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the actual selling of the company’s products to the dealers and ensure good business relations are developed and maintained with all customers.
- Aggressively initiate expansion of sales operation nationwide, particularly in the supermarket business, by soliciting and opening new accounts.
- Regularly visit dealers and sales personnel to ensure sales targets are met and sales policies are followed.
- Provide feedback on market conditions and actively participate in strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree graduate
- Extensive experience in FMCG and modern trade.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
