Job Description
A Scrum Master plays a crucial role in Agile project management, serving as a facilitator for an Agile development team. Responsibilities include ensuring the team follows Agile values and principles, organizing and leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
The Scrum Master shields the team from external interference, removes obstacles, and fosters an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. They coach team members on Agile practices and help them achieve higher levels of performance.
Key skills for a Scrum Master include strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is often required.
