Job Description
As a Set-Up Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the set-up crew in preparing and arranging equipment, props, and sets for filming or events. Your main duties will include unloading and setting up equipment, assembling and disassembling sets, moving and arranging props, and ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available for use.
In addition, you will work closely with the production team to ensure that all technical requirements are met and that the set is organized and ready for filming. You may also be required to assist with other tasks, such as lighting, sound, or camera operations, depending on the needs of the production.
To excel in this position, you should have a strong attention to detail, a good understanding of technical equipment, and the ability to work well in a team. Prior experience in a similar role and knowledge of film production processes are advantageous.
